Whlist visiting a colony Captain Archer falls ill when the Enterprise encounters a continuity loose end which is in fact not what it seems but their opponent turns out to be well-meaning and vulnerable to a show of emotion and so they do something ludicrous and Archer delivers a speech, which means everything turns out okay, and the Enterprise is saved in the nick of time. Then, finally Malcolm says something witty and they leave at warp factor two.
