Whlist investigating a space warp the crew of the USS Enterprise encounters an apparent duplicate of Kirk which is in fact not what it seems but their opponent turns out to be mad and so Scotty jury-rigs the engines, which means everything turns out okay, and the planet is saved in the nick of time. Then, finally Scotty says something worthy and they leave at warp factor two.
